Assuring Better Child Health and Development (ABCD) Program
This program is designed to assist states in improving the delivery of early child development services for low-income children and their families. The Screening Academy is based off of the Assuring Better Child Health and Development (ABCD) Program, also funded by Commonwealth Fund and administered by NASHP.
Bright Futures
The overall goal of the AAP Bright Futures Education Center is to revise Bright Futures: Guidelines for Health Supervision of Infants, Children, and Adolescents and accompanying materials, to develop new materials, and to promote implementation efforts among health care professionals, public/private partners with key child health constituencies, and communities and families.
CDC's Child Development (CDC)
This resource provides information about the Child Development Studies Team’s major projects and activities, public health issues in child development, and child development milestones. It also provides access to downloadable Positive Parenting Tips, links to more information, resources, and a list of their partners in promoting child development.
Center for Medical Home Improvement (CMHI)
The mission of the Center for Medical Home Improvement is to establish and support networks of parent/professional teams to improve the quality of primary care medical homes for children and youth with special health care needs and their families.
Child Development: The Science and Practice of Catching Problems Early (Web Conference)

The Commonwealth Fund
The Commonwealth Fund is a private foundation that aims to promote a high performing health care system that achieves better access, improved quality, and greater efficiency, particularly for society's most vulnerable, including low-income people, the uninsured, minority Americans, young children, and elderly adults. The Fund carries out this mandate by supporting independent research on health care issues and making grants to improve health care practice and policy. An international program in health policy is designed to stimulate innovative policies and practices in the United States and other industrialized countries.
Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics Online (DB Peds)
This site for professionals interested in child development and behavior, especially in the medical setting. It focuses on primary care development and behavior, especially early identification and screening. The learning section features the Toolbox, which links to special article features, keywords, and evidence. Their handouts include both original and borrowed material, suitable for parents.

Developmental Screening Tool Kit—Children's Hospital of Boston
This site is for primary care providers considering or planning to start screening children for developmental needs using a validated tool.
Developmental Surveillance and Screening Policy Implementation Project (D-PIP)
The D-PIP selected 17 primary care pediatric practices from around the country (representing private practice, community based health centers, and residency programs) to implement the AAP policy statement “Identifying Infants and Young Children with Developmental Disorders in the Medical Home: An Algorithm for Developmental Surveillance and Screening.” The project aims to determine if the algorithm can be implemented into pediatric practice, recognize strategies for implementing the algorithm, and examine outcomes of implementing the algorithm.

Healthy Development Learning Collaborative
The goal of the Healthy Development Learning Collaborative is to improve preventive and developmental care for children up to 5 years of age. The Healthy Development Collaborative supports primary care practices in engaging families in a partnership that meets the families’ need to promote positive developmental and psychosocial outcomes for their children.
Healthy Steps for Young Children
Healthy Steps for Young Children (Healthy Steps) is a national initiative that focuses on the importance of the first three years of life. Healthy Steps emphasizes a close relationship between health care professionals and parents in addressing the physical, emotional, and intellectual growth and development of children from birth to age 3.

Tracking, Referral and Assessment Center for Excellence (TRACE)
The major goal of TRACE is to identify and promote the use of evidence-based practices and models for improving child find, referral, early identification, and eligibility determination for infants, toddlers, and young children with developmental delays or disabilities who are eligible for early intervention or preschool special education.
